Another year older, not sure about wiser!

What a great weekend!


Thank you to everyone that sent me kind birthday wishes! Yesterday I turned 27 and it was a great day! My boyfriend got me a beautiful necklace and ring with my birthstone, aquamarine. Can't wait to get the ring sized to wear everyday! Went out to dinner at Red Lobster and had tasty popcorn shrimp, YUM! Then off to the bowling alley with a dozen of our friends. And this morning, back to work... BLURGH!


Got to spend time with some good girlfriends on Saturday too, painting pottery of course! This time I started a flower pot and traced a butterfly on it. The butterfly will be done in pinks and the background is a light blue. Can't wait to see the end result! Eventually I'd like to have a set of pots with butterflies in different colors. I have about 9 plants between my office and home!

Good Morning!

I can tell we're getting close to the end of the week, it's taking extra time to wake up! Tim Horton's hot chocolate is helping though!

This week I've spent time making new inventory and listing new items. I've had so much fun choosing color combos for button bracelets and I can't wait to get some pictures this weekend to get them listed on Etsy! I also stamped some new guitar pick jewelry and spent some time focusing on yellow... April 1st will start a new sale and I'm getting prepared!

I spent more time at the pottery studio too... finished my cat mug and coaster! Won't be fired and ready to go until Sunday though, so check back on Monday for the pictures! I tried to make the cat on the mug look like Lily, so I'll have to get a new picture of her. You can tell me what you think!

Only a few more days until my 27th birthday... Doing my birthday shopping today - I'm going to get myself a waterproof MP3 player to use while I swim. Perhaps that will motivate me to get back in the pool! Sometimes I look back and wonder why I'm not where I thought I would be by this age, but overall I am so pleased with the things that God has provided me and the life that I'm living right now. I'm slowly learning to embrace His plan and not my own.

Monday Madness!

MEET LILY!

Captured these photos last night while I was working on new guitar pick jewelry. For once she wasn't trying to "help" me by sitting on top of my project. She looked so silly laying next to me though, so I had to take a break to play with her a bit!

POTTERY OBSESSION

Went back to Playing Picasso on Saturday and finished my platter, but I couldn't stop there! I picked out this mug and a tile to use as a coaster and I'll use the set in my office. I stamped "meow" on the coaster and stamped a cat on the mug which I'll paint in gray and caramel to look like Lily. Still have a couple layers of glaze to go, then it will be left for firing. Can't wait to show you the end result!!!
