Hump Day Humor

A husband had just finished reading a new book entitled, 'You Can Be THE Man of Your House.'

He stormed to his wife in the kitchen and announced, "From now on, you need to know that I am the man of this house and my word is Law. You will prepare me a gourmet meal tonight, and when I'm finished eating my meal, you will serve me a sumptuous dessert. After dinner, you are going to go upstairs with me and we will have the kind of sex that I want. Afterwards, you are going to draw me a bath so I can relax. You will wash my back and towel me dry and bring me my robe. Then, you will massage my feet and hands. Then tomorrow, guess who's going to dress me and comb my hair?"

The wife replied, "The funeral director would be my first guess!"

Hump Day Humor

Wednesday, and time for Hump Day Humor to get you through the rest of the week with a smile!

Last week I started on a major lifestyle change, or as it's sometimes called, the evil DIET. I did well, dropped 4 pounds last week, but boy is it frustrating! I work at a desk so I crave snacks all day... Anywho, I stumbled upon these last 2 LOLcats while cruising the web in an attempt to distract myself from snacks... and how appropriate they are!! Now I at least have something to laugh about :)

Hump Day Humor... and a Feature!

Good Morning! And a big Etsy welcome to my BESTeam feature of the week, Swan Mountain Soaps!

I spent some time exploring Swan Mountain Soap's Etsy shop as well as the seller's blog, and I can't wait for you to do the same! Products in the shop are made "in natural handmade cold-process artisan soaps and body products, all made completely from scratch." And they all look so yummy! Well, I suppose I wouldn't recommend eating, but I'm sure that they smell as great as they look!

Swan Mountain Soaps also uses great photography to showcase their product. With perfect lighting and backdrops, how can you not be tempted to indulge?!

Treat yourself (or your body rather...) with these great bath bombs!

Or indulge your senses with these natural oil perfumes! Bottles are a perfect size to slip into your purse for a "touchup" anytime.

And for the man in your life!
I saw this bar of soap and laughed out loud, thinking that I need to get my boyfriend this soap as soon as possible! We love each other deeply, but I can't help but tease him about his nerdiness sometimes. He's always a good sport though!

And what guy doesn't spend time in their garage? Don't forget that they're going to need to clean up!

Don't forget to do your own shopping in this great Etsy shop!

And now for our regularly scheduled HUMP DAY HUMOR!

And naturally, because I can just imagine my own cat doing something along these lines, especially with all of the packages I get from Etsy...

Hump Day Humor

Well this sure expresses how I feel this morning...

And I don't even drink coffee!!!

Either way, it's hump day, time for another humor feature. No joke today, not quite functioning on 100%, but plenty of those charming LOLcats to laugh at!

Oh how I wish I could escape work, but I fear my escape would also end in FAIL...

Hump Day Humor

Animal Humor:

The following was found posted very low on a refrigerator door.

Dear Dogs and Cats: The dishes with the paw prints are yours and contain your food. The other dishes are mine and contain my food. Placing a paw print in the middle of my plate of food does not stake a claim for it becoming your food and dish, nor do I find that aesthetically pleasing in the slightest.

The stairway was not designed by NASCAR and is not a racetrack. Racing me to the bottom is not the object. Tripping me doesn't help because I fall faster than you can run.

I cannot buy anything bigger than a king sized bed. I am very sorry about this. Do not think I will continue sleeping on the couch to ensure your comfort, however. Dogs and cats can actually curl up in a ball when they sleep. It is not necessary to sleep perpendicular to each other, stretched out to the fullest extent possible. I also know that sticking tails straight out and having tongues hanging out on the other end to maximize space is nothing but sarcasm.

For the last time, there is no secret exit from the bathroom! If, by some miracle, I beat you there and manage to get the door shut, it is not necessary to claw, whine, meow, try to turn the knob or get your paw under the edge in an attempt to open the door. I must exit through the same door I entered. Also, I have been using the bathroom for years - canine/feline attendance is not required.

The proper order for kissing is: Kiss me first, then go smell the other dog or cat's butt. I cannot stress this enough.

And finally, in honor of Easter on Sunday...
